Walking in Beauty – a Forrest Yoga Workshop by Earthwalking
Forrest Yoga unites ancient techniques of healing, which draw from the context of the northwestern tribes of the First Nations, with cutting edge findings of body therapy, psychology and neuro-anatomy.
The Native American Way of Walking in Beauty describes our ability to transform experience and to be transformed ourselves by something that transcends us: the whole ongoing, ever developing natural process of which we are a part.
In this workshop, we'll translate the philosophy of Walking in Beauty into an embodied experience on the mat. Weaving the essential FY elements of breath, strength, integrity and spirit together into a restorative, yummy, all levels practice creates an arena that supports each and everyone of us to relate in an effective, empathic and healing way – to ourselves and each other.
